Randi Rhodes kicks Meirs when she's down

As she anayzed the Meirs nomination withdrawl on her show last night, Randi Rhodes said, in reference to Harriet Meirs' well-publicized Evangelical faith, "The only thing she prays about is billable hours". Rhodes repeatedly called her a corporate pitbull, defending greedy insurance companies against people who want insurance, big oil companies, and fascist corporations. She especially hates Walmart for their new policy to aim at hiring healthier employees to reduce their helath care benefits costs. She said that Walmart only wants to hire perfect Aryan specimens.

Why do looney Leftists always make the Nazi comparison?

Introduction

Inspired by Air America's on-air "talent" referencing the killing of President Bush, Vice President Cheney, Karl Rove, and Lewis Libby (all in the span of ONE week- who knows how many other times and how many other Republicans!) I thought I'd begin tracking and reporting the more extreme examples of leftist hate in the media and the blogosphere.

Internet linkage will have to be limited to sources that are at least somewhat well known, as we all know that the blogosphere is populated with vast numbers of insignificant nuts.

deadAir America Deathwishers

Perhaps I'm only just now learning about their violent daydreams, but in the span of ONE week I heard Marc Moron make two references to the death of the President and Vice President, and Al Franken comment on the execution of their top advisors.

On a recent Late Show with David Letterman, Al Franken jokingly speculated about Karl Rove and Lewis Libby being executed for (in his opinion) their guilt in revealing Valerie (Wilson) Plame's identity. Then he also expressed mock concern that we might need to amend the constitution because "...it wouldn't look good for us to execute a sitting president", as well.

On the 19th, Marc Maron proclaimed that "Dick Cheney should be executed for treason", and today he joked "...my cat told me to kill the president." A Morning Sedition producer (I presume, since it wasn't cohost Mark Riley's voice) quickly cautioned him about such talk, to which he covered "What!? I said I wasn't going to do it".
