deadAir America Deathwishers

Perhaps I'm only just now learning about their violent daydreams, but in the span of ONE week I heard Marc Moron make two references to the death of the President and Vice President, and Al Franken comment on the execution of their top advisors.

On a recent Late Show with David Letterman, Al Franken jokingly speculated about Karl Rove and Lewis Libby being executed for (in his opinion) their guilt in revealing Valerie (Wilson) Plame's identity. Then he also expressed mock concern that we might need to amend the constitution because "...it wouldn't look good for us to execute a sitting president", as well.

On the 19th, Marc Maron proclaimed that "Dick Cheney should be executed for treason", and today he joked "...my cat told me to kill the president." A Morning Sedition producer (I presume, since it wasn't cohost Mark Riley's voice) quickly cautioned him about such talk, to which he covered "What!? I said I wasn't going to do it".

Brad.
